Artisan of Bath and Body
Other than an obsession for light bulbs of all things, soaps of any kind would be on the top of the list. Those delicious fragrances, luxurious natural oils and handcrafted bubbly goodness.
Domestically dedicated and inspired from childhood for all things that bring home and family together as one is enormously gratifying and simply the hobbyhorse that creates the fabric of White Dormouse Artisan Soaps. Artificial foods and playhouses, dolls and dress up are only the beginning. Suddenly every dishtowel in my mother’s linen closet transformed into the carpet décor for my Barbie living room. Weekly allowance was put to use buying miniature fake foods and doll clothes. Eventually a vintage trunk was purchased to house the sum of many playful trinkets.
I will never forget during my first domestic job interview as a home manager, a customer had a stake and potato with fresh string beans on a beautiful plate with napkin, fork and knife to the right on a kitchen café table. I apologized that I interrupted her dinner hour and she laughed as she responded that the dinner on the table was all artificial foods including the glass of wine. I was welcomed in with open arms, I took a deep breath, shook my head and it was all over.
I was hooked as if it were yesterday. Over 35 years later I am still professionally and domestically doing exactly what I love. Gratified by the results of helping you to enjoy one of life’s pleasures. Your home.
Creating a comfortable setting in my own home has become a combination of patience and inspiration as well. Married to an artist of design, we have managed as a team to decorate and accessorize based on a combination of distressed furniture and wall designs, antiques and skeleton key medieval door locks, dinner plates, tea sets and copper, white linens and farm house cabinetry and of course artificial foods of all kinds. How did natural Artisan Soaps become an addition to the home? It’s simple….
Handcrafted Artisan Soaps are not only wholesome, but they are an art all within themselves. Adored by many, the ingredients are beneficial and there is no need to justify how beautiful they are on display. The packaging alone draws you in like sweet honey and speaking of honey have you tried the goats milk soap? From olive oils, to coconut oil, castor oil, sweet almond oil and many others. From fragrances, textures, designs and styles to all of the combination of healing factors and the use of essential oils that should be considered.
This is just the beginning when introducing natural solutions to hand crafted soaps. Understanding the passion behind the craft is as easy as remembering White Dormouse Artisan Soaps.
