Dog Shampoo Bar CALMING with Infused Oils
Dog Shampoo Bar CALMING with Infused Oils
Bathing our dogs can sometimes be an emotional chore for us and cause anxiety and stress for our canine companions. While naturally skittish, there are ways to avoid uncomfortable situations for our furry friends during bath time. Boswellia and Lemon Balm shampoo is formulated to help calm and sooth emotional stress, and create an overall sense of harmony.
The relaxing presence of Lemon Balm (Melissa) and Frankincense derived from the sap of the Boswellia tree native to India are two of the essential oils used in numerous cultures for centuries contributing to aromatic healing, and medicinal properties. Lemon Balm is perfect for reducing agitation, healing minor cuts and wounds and relaxing sore muscles. Lemon Balm also contains anti-viral and anti-bacterial qualities safe for use on dog skin and fur.
The ingredients used to create this lovely bar soap, are specifically geared towards the delicate PH of dog skin and fur which have an acidic layer that protects them from environmental contaminants and viruses. This is not to be tampered with by using soap that can cause irritation. Artificial bubble making soaps are out of the question.
Hand selected oils of Avocado, Coconut, Olive, Apricot and Shea along with infused Flax Seed oil and Pumpkin for sensitivity, skin conditions, eczema, psoriasis, loss of moisture and therapeutic healing. Other beneficial properties are light cleansing, softening, plentiful in vitamin E, A, C promotes hair growth, stimulation, minerals of calcium, zinc, and iron, protein, light weight and absorbent for soft coat and healthier skin.
Natural honey from our local apiary was also a wonderful additive along with oatmeal, reducing swelling and inflammation. It relieves itchiness and hot spots around cuts and bumps on the dog’s skin. This type of honey supports the immunity system, it’s aromatic, fruity and floral. Thick in consistency and one of my favorites. Our dog shampoo is gentle for human skin as well.
